Friday Find: Pork Chart Print

UPDATE: Use code CTRLZ to get another 10% off until the morning of 11/8

Just in time to start the holiday shopping season, the curated site Huckberry is running a clearance sale of up to 70% and it includes the above 9″ x 12″ pork chart print (sans frame) on sale for $20.98 (down from $35). Would make a good companion piece to the Great NC Barbecue Map poster.

There was a time when if you needed to buy meat you would just head down to your local butcher and see what he had freshly cut up   The man in the white apron could tell you about the local farm where the pig was raised and make a recommendation for what you wanted to prepare. Inspired by an old-fashioned butcher’s chart, this letterpress print reminds us that knowing the different cuts of pork can help determine the best selection for a dish, cooking method or flavor profile.

Features

  • Individually rolled letterpress print
  • Made with custom plates for a deep, crisp imprint
  • Duplexed with a second sheet to create a 220lb finish
  • Original Bearings hand-drawn image
  • Frame not included

  1. Hey Guys,

Wanted to pass along a newly released update to our site that you might find useful.

You can read more about all the updates to the site that have been released this fall, but I am writing to you about a new filter function to our map that allows you to filter your search results to show you all the restaurants in your area that:

    1) serve a particular type of sauce: mustard, vinegar, etc.; 2) only accept cash, or take both cards and cash; 3) have been designated 100-mile BBQ by the South Carolina BBQ Association.

So, let’s say you’re driving to Rock Hill, and you really have a hankering for some mustard-based BBQ (’cause I know how much y’all love it). Well, do your search with the “Mustard” filter selected, and the map will show you only the restaurants around Rock Hill that serve a mustard sauce.

Or say you’re traveling near Hemingway and you don’t have any cash on you. Simply conduct a search with the “Cards and Cash” filter selected and you won’t have to worry that the place you pick only takes cash.

    Pretty cool, right?

A future update will allow you to choose multiple filters at once and will allow you to determine if the restaurant is “Open Today,” but for now you can only choose one at a time.

Again, you can check out the link above for more detailed info on this and our other updates.

    Thanks,

    Jim Roller Destination BBQ
